August, 2006. Lying on a bench at the tail of a KC 135 watching the refueling of one of the Navy Blue Angels; near Edmonton, Alberta. It looks like I'm leaning out of the plane, but it's actually a glass bubble. Got the chance to ride along with the Alaska Air National Guard. Flew from Fairbanks to Edmonton and back -- without landing.
